After completing graduate studies at Musashino Art University, he visited Northern Europe as a student and was deeply influenced by its diverse crafts, beautiful streetscapes, and natural surroundings. He later spent many years in the creative division of a company, planning and producing designs for European and American markets, traveling overseas on business, and encountering a wide range of art. These experiences and encounters now form the foundation of his creative work.
