谷口正直さんの絵のタイトルは、色と時間。水縹（みなはだ）は、澄んだ水面を思わせる淡い青色です。その透明感のある色合いは、清らかで爽やかな印象を与えます。古くは水辺の風景をイメージさせる色として使われ、夏の涼しさを表現するのにも適しています。

谷口正直 / Masanao Taniguchi

福岡県在住の料理人兼アーティスト。糸島の海沿いで料理を作りながら、目にした景色にイメージを重ね、海をテーマに抽象画を描く。自然の表情と線の調和を探求しながら、「目で見て感じて体感する」という絵と料理の共通点を大切にし、観る人の心に残る作品を生み出すことを目指している。

A chef and artist based in Fukuoka Prefecture. Creating meals by the seaside in Itoshima,he draw inspiration from the ocean to paint abstract works. Focusing on the harmony of nature’s expressions and lines, he value the shared experience of "seeing, feeling, and sensing" in both art and cuisine, aiming to create works that resonate with viewers.cafes and galleries.

About the Paper

発色の良さと紙の風合いという相反する性質を高いレベルで両立させた高級印刷用紙で、FSC認証※も取得しているヴァンヌーボV-FSの最厚紙を使用。

We use the thickest paper of Vent nouveau V-FS, a high-quality printing paper that successfully balances the conflicting qualities of vibrant color reproduction and the texture of the paper at a high level. This premium printing paper has also obtained FSC certification.
