About frames

An original frame that uses pine wood (processed pine) as its core material to suppress shape changes due to dryness or humidity, and is wrapped with veneer that has a beautiful grain and is less prone to warping or cracking.

Natural wood (surface veneer) / Backing board: MDF*1 / Transparent board: PET*2

*1 A board made by crushing wood into fibers and then forming it. It is known as an eco-friendly material with high recyclability because it utilizes wood scraps, thinned wood, etc., for the effective use of wood resources.
*2 It is characterized by being lightweight and hard to break, while its transparency is comparable to glass. It conforms to the Food Sanitation Law and is used for PET bottles and other products, and does not emit harmful gases when incinerated.

Poster paper

This premium printing paper, Van Nuys V-FS, boasts a high level of both excellent color development and a pleasant paper texture, two properties that are usually at odds. The thickest paper in the series, it is also FSC certified*. Its thickness makes it resistant to the effects of humidity and environmental changes, and it is also characterized by its resistance to curling and warping.

*FSC certification assesses and certifies whether forest management and logging are carried out with consideration for the environment and local communities, and proves that products are derived from such forests (products made from timber from properly managed forests). It is operated by the NGO FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®: headquartered in Germany).
