ado 渡辺真希子 / ado（makiko watanabe）

生き物好きの絵描き。東海大学畜産学部在学中に野生動物保全に携わるため、ケニアに短期滞在。動物に対して何か出来ることがないかと考え、制作活動を始める。卒業後、熊本市動植物園嘱託職員としての勤務を経て、ヒトと動物のあいだ、生命のありようの表現を模索しながら、活動を続けている。

An artist who loves living creatures. While studying at the Faculty of Animal Science at Tokai University, she stayed briefly in Kenya to contribute to wildlife conservation. Reflecting on what she could do for animals, she began her artistic endeavors. After graduating, she worked as a contracted employee at Kumamoto City Zoological and Botanical Gardens, continuing her activities as she explored expressions of life between humans and animals.

About the Paper

We use the thickest paper of Vent nouveau V-FS, a high-quality printing paper that successfully balances the conflicting qualities of vibrant color reproduction and the texture of the paper at a high level. This premium printing paper has also obtained FSC certification.
