アンバランスでちょっととぼけたポニーとひまわりが重なった、鈴木マサルさんならではの作品。不自然にも思われるサイズ感で組み合わされたモチーフが、絶妙な配色とバランスで描かれている。

鈴木マサル / masaru suzuki

テキスタイルデザイナー。東京造形大学教授。多摩美術大学染織デザイン科卒業後、粟辻博デザイン室に勤務。1995 年の独立後、自身のブランドの他にマリメッコやカンペール、ユニクロのデザインを手がけるなど、国内外の様々なメーカー、ブランドのプロジェクトに参画している。

Textile designer. Professor at Tokyo Zokei University. After graduating from Tama Art University's Department of Dyeing and Weaving Design, I worked at Hiroshi Awatsuji Design Studio. Since becoming independent in 1995, I have been involved in projects for various domestic and international manufacturers and brands, in addition to my own brand, including Marimekko, Camper, and Uniqlo.

About the Paper

発色の良さと紙の風合いという相反する性質を高いレベルで両立させた高級印刷用紙で、FSC認証※も取得しているヴァンヌーボV-FSの最厚紙を使用。

※FSC認証とは「森林の管理や伐採が環境や地域社会に配慮して行なわれているかどうか」を評価・認証し、そうした森林に由来する製品(適正管理された森林木材による製品)であることを証明するものです。運営は、NGOであるFSC（Forest Stewardship Council®：森林管理協議会 本部ドイツ）が行っています。

We use the thickest paper of Vent nouveau V-FS, a high-quality printing paper that successfully balances the conflicting qualities of vibrant color reproduction and the texture of the paper at a high level. This premium printing paper has also obtained FSC certification.
